Poettker was honored to serve as the general contractor for Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois鈥� new terminal. This new 23,000 SF, two-story terminal was designed with the ability for future expansion. Amenities and services include:

Large open room with glass walls and seating
Inside a room with counters for travels to check in
Small aircraft with a building in the background
Modern waiting room with glass walls and seating

  • Improved layout separating passenger flow functions

  • Centralized security checkpoint and hold room

  • Security screening and baggage markup areas

  • Modern passenger waiting areas

  • New baggage carousel system

  • Business center

  • Car rental offices

  • Ticketing facilities

The Poettker team was instrumental in all aspects of the construction process, from accurate cost estimating and detailed constructability reviews with value engineering recommendations, to on-time and in-budget project delivery.鈥�
