桃子视频 is serving as Construction Manager of the Richland County High School’s new 10,800 SF athletic complex, including new locker rooms, bathrooms, storm shelter, storage rooms and concessions. The slab-on-grade facility will be constructed with masonry veneer, structural steel, and membrane roofing, with interior finishes including masonry, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and resinous flooring.

In his presentation to Richland County Community school trustees, Project Director Ryan Fuhler reported the new athletic building is completely enclosed, with exterior metal doors installed and a nearly complete roof.

鈥淭hey鈥檒l be finishing the metal tomorrow around the outside of the building,” Fuhler said. “They鈥檒l do a little detailing on the roof, but we are weathered in,鈥

He added that crews began painting the interior walls and started framing the ceilings in the bathrooms this week. Fuhler said that crews will start drywalling the bathroom next. Following the drywall work, crews will shift focus to installing the bathroom flooring.

With the building鈥檚 masonry work completed, crews are smoothing out the building鈥檚 details. Nine of the 14 door stoops were poured outside.

鈥淭hey poured another one this morning, and they鈥檙e hoping to finish them tomorrow as well,鈥 Fuhler said.

He added that once concrete around the building is finished, his crew will follow behind to install the canopies above the concession area.

Crews should be finished by the end of November, but they are pushing to have everything complete by the middle of November.

These modernization efforts will support Richland County High School’s growing enrollment and evolving program needs, as well as enhance safety and accessibility, improve learning and performance spaces, and expand support amenities while maintaining school operations.
